In Austria, a proverb states that life writes the funniest stories. This is, indeed, true – especially if you have been watching Sprint’s iPhone preorder web site recently.

At first, the carrier suggested that you trade in a HTC Windows Phone 7:
sprint funny 1 Sprint: dont abandon your Windows Phone for an iPhone

Now, an LG phone is suggested:
sprint funny 2 Sprint: dont abandon your Windows Phone for an iPhone

Let me bet that Microsoft intervened here…

  1. I bought an LG Optimus 7 last year and planed to sell it, if the new iPhone arrives. Now, a year later, no iPhone 5 arrived but Mango for Windows Phone. Now I’m so used to Windows Phone that I can’t imaging to go back to iOS. I also have an iPad which I like, so I’m no hateboy, but WP7 is much more usable when on the road. I will stick to my LG for now and perhaps get a Nokia if they manage to catch up with the superb camera on the iPhone.

  2. Hi Flux,
thank you so much for talking back!

I personally fear that Nokia will give us another EDOF CrapCam ™ – but we will know more very soon, as I will be at Nokia World!

    All the best
    Tam
