Sony Ericsson has been a recurring topic on this news network recently – after revamping their developer network, it was shut down and partially resumed in a confused fashion.

Mobile Apps Briefing now reports the following:

Sony Ericsson said that it is closing down its Developer World forum, without citing the reasoning behind its decision. It said that support for Android phones will be offered through the Android Developers forum on Google Groups, and that “Developer World staff will to some extent monitor and assist in developer related discussions on Sony Ericsson Android phones.” It also noted that “other platforms and technologies will not be supported.”

Not much to add here – looks like Operation Suicide has been completed successfully…
