Looks like the rumors about a grand total of three Windows Mobile device from Sony Ericsson were not as false as initially thought – Sony Ericsson has just released its own Treo knockoff as Sony Ericsson Aspen:

So far, nothing is known on the hardware specs (memory and CPU) of this Windows Mobile 6.5.3 phone – it will have a QVGA screen and will be available in black and white. It is scheduled to be available in Q2 (who believes it?), and will support the following network bands:

* Networks

* UMTS HSPA 900/2100
* GSM GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900

* UMTS HSPA 850/900/2100
* GSM GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900
