Sony Ericsson never was too good in all things Windows Mobile: while the hardware is usually cool, it takes literally ages until the box actually drops.
The XPERIA X1 was delayed all the way to China – and the X2 now follows suite. A xda-developers forum member got the following statement out of a Sony Ericsson rep:

Due to the possibility of further optimization, we have decided not to launch the x2 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands. The launch date has been tentatively set in April. Therefore, Customer Care Support will only be available for this product at that time
