Don’t ask me why carriers insist on SIM-locking their devices which are sold on contract – as long as I pay my monthly fee, they can IMHO not care one bit about what I do with my device.

Just been on the phone with O2 today(1/12/09) and been advised that unlocking O2 HD2′s is free. also been advised that it can take up to 28 days, but as long as it’s FREE that’s not abig issue. Sorry to other networks users, you might need to contact your network rpoviders if you HD2 is locked to your network.
