Don’t ask me why carriers insist on SIM-locking their devices which are sold on contract – as long as I pay my monthly fee, they can IMHO not care one bit about what I do with my device.

Just been on the phone with O2 today(1/12/09) and been advised that unlocking O2 HD2′s is free. also been advised that it can take up to 28 days, but as long as it’s FREE that’s not abig issue.
