HTC has dominated the Windows Mobile keyboard slider market for some time – both the SE XPERIA X1 and the HTC Touch Pro series of devices were manufactured at the same plant and generated revenue for the same company.

awesome phones! I have never owned a smartphone, but recentlyi have made a decision to buy one, after doing some ‘research’ through the internet on which phones are interesting. i came up with the htc touch pro, after looking up specs and peoples experiences / opinions for about a week, i ran across this Touch Pro 2. And that was enough to make me want the TP2 over the TP.. i have been searching specs on the TP2, and about 2 days ago i ran across this Omnia Pro!! i am totally confused / undecided on which to buy now! anybody. please give me your thoughts, i am getting my smart mostly for the interbet on a mobile!
so please, post way
Yep, this is really a hard one! I find myself in the same position.. I think for internet, and personal use, you should go for the omnia: faster, flashier, cheaper and more fun. The TP2 has more businesstools, but a way weaker camara. I like the tilting screen, and love the keyboard! (I had one in my hands today), also i think the conference call mode is cool/handy for my work….as you see i’m still trying to convince myself.
Hi,
I have to admit that I would go for the XPERIA X1. Dirt cheap, and a pretty good box at all things…
All the best
