TamsPPC was among the first news services to spot Acer’s upcoming devices at this year’s Mobile World Congress – unfortunately, we are located in Austria and thus are not exactly close to Acer’s R&D labs.

Fortunately, a web site called TechieLobang fills the void – they were at the launch event in Singapore, and brought home a huge bunch of photos. Core points are as follows:

  • E-Ten brand will be discontinued
  • Some devices will use SPB Shell (!!!possible Russian release due to SPB involvement!!!)
  • Acer-custom UI limited to two devices, mimicks desktop of traditional desk
