1a Samsung Omnia hits Canadas CDMA carriersI have no idea why the folks at Samsung’s have not been able to get this done before…but it looks like two Canadian carriers will be able to sell the Omnis ahortly:

Samsung Electronics Canada answers the
call of Canadians seeking a smarter and more stylish way to stay connected
with the launch of its OMNIA (SCH-i910) touch-screen smartphone. OMNIA,
meaning “everything” in Latin, brings together all the features and
capabilities needed to provide users with a superior mobile experience -
whether it be for work or play.

The Samsung OMNIA will be available through Bell and TELUS in early
April.

I am not too sure what this means for Samsung’s Windows Mobile-based Omnia line: the Omnia HD has been announced for quite some time, with statements going along the line of “WM is not suited for consumers”….
