I have no idea why Verizon still didn’t manage to get its version of the HTC Touch Diamond out the door – but the device still isn’t available and can not be purchased.
Verizon did change the specs of the device quite a bit according to the Boy Genius, who managed to get his hands onto the test model pictured on the left side: while the CPU remains at 528MhZ (not 400 as claimed in the past), the memory has been reduced significantly. Furthermore, a MicroSD card slot was added to compensate for the lost storage space:
* CPU: Qualcomm 7500A
* Speed: 528 MHz
* RAM size: 128MB
* Flash size: 256MB
* Display resolution: 480×640
* 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus
