0a HTC Iolite / XDA Guide O2’s XDA Guide is commonly known as HTC Iolite, even though O2 announced the device literally weeks before the Iolite was leaked by Expansys.

Anyways, I have just received a bit of further info from O2 Germany on the future of the box…in case anybody of you is waiting for one, it will drop on the end of February. O2 will charge 399 Euros OTC, and will give the box away for 49€ with a decently large contract and a 24mo term.

The press release furthermore contained a few key specs which are repeated here for your enjoyment:

  • WM 6.1

  • CPU: Qualcomm MSM 7225, 528MhZ
  • 256MB of RAM / 512MB ROM

  • QVGA screen
  • Opera Mobile 9.5
