HP has sent a statement regarding this – get the full scoop here!
HP exhibited at the recent ITnT fair in Austria – the folks had a booth of their own, and also were on-site via a few partners.
 On HPs new smartphones

Unfortunately, the Voice and Data messengers were MIA. HP’s booth head even told me the following:

I am honest with you. I have no idea what the ipaq folks do or where they are.

IMHO, this attitude shows why HP will be unsuccessful in all things consumer mobile. First, take the weak specifications…and then add the total lack of buzz marketing to get a step-by-step manual to total failure. Even though I have to admit that Samsung’s “mobile booth” wasn’t too large either, it was there and was well visited.

What do you think?
