So far, we have wondered about what Expansys was up to with its Iolite announcement – it looks like we now know who the main user of the device will be. The scan below comes from issue 2/2009 of the German c’t magazine, and covers a device called O2 XDA Guide:
When we compare the image with Expansys’s, we see that the device is more-less the same:
Long-term TamsPPC readers will recall that the device was first covered here on December the 19th…which exposes Expansys’s announcement as a huge hoax intended to get some free PR.
Once again: the HTC Iolite is NOT a new device. It’s just an unbranded version of the O2 XDA Guide…
