HTC’s MAX 4G is the first Windows Mobile-powered WiMax device. The device was launched on Russia’s Yota network some time ago – the first unboxing images have now popped up and are posted below for your convenience:

As the device is completely useless for people not covered by a WiMax network, most of us will not benefit much from the box. Nevertheless, the images are above – rest assured that we will keep you posted if another WiMax network starts to carry the device immediately!

P.S. The images originally appeared at xda-developers, but their server was not capable to handle the load. I took the images from WMPowerUsers, who were smart enough to host them themselves…
