I have always been a freak of Skype: as my rx4240 has an extremely long stand-by life time, I sometimes abuse the device as a “skype phone” of some sort. The stability and call quality have been problematic in the past: while some versions worked perfectly well, others had huge problems with the Samsung SC processor found in a variety of handhelds.

The Skype team’s description of the update is rather vague:

Based on feedback from you guys, our Mobile team have overhauled Skype for Windows Mobile and released Beta 2.5. It features improved sound quality, better stability and a more familiar user interface. Download it now and give it a whirl.
