XPERIA X1 stock low at Austrian carriersEven though Sony Ericsson officials categorically deny having any stock problems with their X1 device, I personally think that their problems are getting harder and harder to deny every day. UnwiredView reports that the US version is delayed toll January…and my trusty carrier seems to have problems, too.

I have been an avid fan of Hutchison 3G ever since they “sponsored” TamsS60 by giving me almost free data; and have recently planned to switch from T-Mobile to them as my Treo 680 starts to get old. However, no touchscreen WM device was available at the time…my mate told me to expect the device by the 14th.

Being the Tam Hanna that I am, I felt an insane urge to visit a Hutchison store close to me – the employee told me the following:

We have received but three XPERIA devices (!!!), all of which are reserved. Please try again in one and a half weeks…

If this isn’t a clear sign for low stock, what is? A store in a huge mall with hundreds of customers a day gets but three devices…don’t we all call that insane? I feel that SE has more issues than they admit – XPERIA fans should probably prepare themselves for a loooooong wait.
