HTC has once been famous for its high product quality – unfortunately, they seem to have deteriorated quite a bit recently. Here’s the latest rap sheet:
HTC Touch HD
The Touch HD has just received a small patch (no firmware update) which fixes a proiblem where the screen stops to respond sometimes according to HTC:
Sometimes the screen stops responding for about 3 to 5 seconds when running an application that needs to use the stylus to click the screen repeatedly within a short time. For example, the windows built-in software like SMS, email, solitaire, etc.
HTC Touch Diamond
HTC’s Touch Diamond now has an eeker of its own: the backlight stops working after some time due to a software issue. As of now, HTC has not clarified the issue – in fact, their customer service reps have told customers to “buy a new handset” according to Gizmodo.
