Quite a bit of time has passed since LG last deployed a Windows Mobile device – the company generally has a very weird relationship to smartphones (they have S60, Palm OS and WM licenses, but rarely/never build any hardware).

The new device is called Incite, and has pretty decent specs according to UnwiredView:

• 256 MB ROM, 128 MB RAM
• MicroSD and SDHC card support, up to 16GB
• Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz
• Tri band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, 850 / 1900 / 21000 MHz
• A-GPS and AT&T navigator
• Wi-Fi
• 3MP camera
• Talk time: up to 8.7 hours
• Standby time: 21 days
• Weight: 4.23 ounces
• Size: 4.21 x 2.2 x 0.55 inches
• Web browser
• Xpress Mail, Microsoft Direct Push
• Microsoft Office Mobile
• Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5
• Music and video players
• Bluetooth 2.0

AT&T currently is the only carrier peddling the box. If you are willing to accept a 2yr contract, the device costs 299$ OTC – a mail-in rebate refunds 100$ afterwards. In case you wish to have the device in an unlocked state, be prepared to part with 499$…
