Final products and prototypes have always been two kettles of fish – so far, most reviews were based on preliminary hardware. However, this has just changed as two well-known analysts have shared their feelings about the XPERIA.

Brandon Miniman from PocketNow tortured the device thoroughly – and generally liked what he saw. The issues with the keyboard are gone: what remains is a device with an outstanding screen, extremely long battery life and a great camera.

MoDaCo’s resident MVP Paul states that he considers the device the “king of the current keyboard device batch”. He is not entirely happy with the keyboard and absolutely hates the fiveway navigator – but absolutely loves the rest of the box.
