After having unboxed the box a few days ago, it’s now time to take a look at the physical size. As the ipaq 910 is a QWERTY phone, the size options are limited. Let’s see how big the box turns out to be:
Palm’s Treo 680 is one of the best-selling smartphone form factors (Treo 680/750/755p are more-less the same). Our ipaq is exactly as wide, but quite a bit thinner:

Coming to PDA’s, it’s time to look at the classic hp ipaq 3600:

Cutting a long story short: smartphones can never be as small as multitap-based dumbphones. The 910 contains a QWERTY keyboard: and thus needs a minimum size. People who currently have a bigger BlackBerry, a Treo or another smartphone will be more than happy with the size of this machine…
