Our sister site TamsPalm originally covered Meazura’s rugged Palm OS handheld over two years ago. As the downward trend for the Palm OS is clear, Aceeca planned to switch over to Windows Mobile about a year ago. Unfortunately, little has been heard from these rugged devices ever since.
The image on the left has just been provided to TamsPPC by an Aceeca representative. It shows the MEZ1500, which is the lower-spec’d one of the two boxen. It has a QVGA screen, a 520MhZ CPU and 64MB of RAM.
As of now, nobody knows if a PocketPC upgrade will be made available for these WindowsCE-based devices. Stay tuned for further info!
