I recently had a minute (literally) with a HTC Touch Pro, and felt like sharing my first impressions. The machine in question was purchased off the Austrian version of Amazon.com and cost about 600€.
The device feels extremely well-built and has a gorgeous screen – the photo below doesn’t do the screen justice. Its color saturation is extremely high when the backlight is turned on: it beats my Treo 680 hands-down. Unfortunately, its physical size is a bit too small for my taste.

HTC has a long tradition of building solid devices, and the Touch Pro is no exception. Unfortunately, the 5way nav was very plain – I would have preferred it to stand out more like on a Treo.

The slide-out keyboard surprised me. Even though the keys look very flat at first glance, typing on them is very very comfortable. I literally had the machine in my hands for 15 seconds and could type fast: all worries about keyboard quality are unneeded.
In the end, the HTC Touch Pro is a very solid device. I think that it would fare very well in a full TamsPPC review, and plan to purchase one for myself in a few weeks.
P.S. I will meet the owner of this box again soon – if you have any questions, please let me know by posting a comment!
