Samsung’s i760 has been an oddball device due to its very weird keyboard layout. As the device has bene on the road for quite some time, Verizon apparently felt like releasing an update soon. The so-called i770 has just been leaked to HowardForums – the images below show it next to its predecessor:

The user TK093 furtherly describes the device as following:

The virtual mouse thingy is pretty cool. It is different though. There is a button on the side that will toggle it from virtual mouse to a 4 way directional way of movement like what we are used too.

I have not used it that much yet but my first impression is a positive one.

As of now, little is known about when the device will actually hit the road. However, I am very happy to see that Samsung did not adopt the keyboard found on recent BlackBerries and the ipaq 910 – the Treoesque keyboard works so much better (IMHO)…
