So far, the boys at Velocity Mobile’s have produced little but hot air – while their devices looked lovely on the paper/in the datasheets (and while samples were promised readily), nothing has materialized so far.
However, this has now changed – the UK-based hyper-retailer Expansys has begun taking preorders for one of the devices as of today:
A quick Google conversion has led to a price of 420 Euros: knowing that Expansys always tries to get an extra buck from early adopters, I assume that the device will cost about 350 Euros when OTC sales finally commence.
