AT&T Tilt and Verizon VX6800 get Windows Mobile 6.1

Even though Windows Mobile 6.1 has been out for quite some time, many promised upgrades haven’t materialized. Owners of the two devices above can now celebrate, as an official update has finally become available.

Palm Touch Pro might go CDMA

The launch of the Palm Treo Pro has been covered on TamsPPC to quite some extent, and we are currently waiting for a sample of the device.

So far, the Treo Pro is GSM only. However, this will soon change according to Cens.com’s Steve Chuang:

…Furthermore, Palm is planning to launch CDMA (code division multiple access) version of Treo Pro series phone in the future for CDMA telecom service providers, like Verizon, Wireless and Sprint. The phone will also be supplied by HTC. …

As of now, nobody knows when (and if) the box will drop - stay tuned for further info as we get it!
