Dear Readers,
I am proud to present you yet another new author. Mikey has managed to impress me and my second brain half(Dr. Doris Maria Kohrs of abc texte fame) by applying with a “self-interview”(a great idea, btw). Here goes - we’ll hear more from Mikey soon!

Hello, I am Mikey Pizano, a new writer for Tam Hannah’s Pocket PC blog. I would like to thank the crazy Austrian for giving me this chance to make a name for myself. To begin my rein of terror career here, I would Like to introduce myself in the form of a interview…

We are here today with the web designer Michael John Pizano. Mr. Pizano, we would like to thank you for taking time off of your busy life to do this interview. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Sure. Its good to take some time off of my blog, but there will still be a daily entry for today. Please call me Mikey. I host a blog on my own server at http://mikeypizano.homelinux.com:81 The site isn’t very big but I really enjoy doing it.

So, how old are you Mikey?
I am 18 and will be 19 in February.

When did you start your site?
Well, prior to the current site, I had a few others including BlogSpot accounts, a GooglePages account, and a Tripod account. I started in early 2007 or so. My current site was started around February but the blog portion of the site was an external page. The current blog started April 11, 2007.

Your site is very plain, do you use an editor?
I have tried using them but I always end up preferring notepad. I use NotePad++ actually. I actually do the bulk of my coding with Word files. This makes it easy to spell check my work.

You said you host your own site? What are you using?
I use a Linux based server running LAMPP on Ubuntu Server 7.06. I upload my stuff via SFTP.

Well, what PDA’s do you own, past ones included? Any thing special?
Well, I have owned a lot since August 2003. It all started with my SJ22 that I had for two weeks before getting an SJ33. I then got a Dell Axim X30 624MHZ. When this died, I was given a Clie TJ25 to use until I got my Palm TX. 9 weeks after this I got a free LifeDrive. I got a NEC MobilePro 780 from a friend. This is a special one because it runs CE2.11 and is a clamshell device. Then I got a Casio E200 off a friend. I traded the LifeDrive for the iPAQ HX2495b I use now. I got a Palm Tungsten T3 that I had traded for a Treo650 which I traded for a IBM ThinkPad t20. Just recently I was given a Clie T615.

What will you be doing here?
Simple: News and Reviews!

Thanks Mikey, I wish you the best of luck at this fine website.
