I am stuck with the 5.60.00: I have tried flashing to the 5.2 Xplode (which seems to call itself 6.0 on the file name?) but as I mentioned the upgrade process completes and leaves me with the frozen three colour bootloader screen and I have to load the August ROM again to get the unit to work. And I have found that questions about flashing tend to go unanswered on the forum unless you are a complete newbie trying to do something stupid like flashing by clicking on a cab file in the unit or not knowing what the reset button is.

First, I had Helmi's ROM. The one I know have is (imho) called Xplode (version 6.00.00 or sth.).

Sorry, but I never tried VoIP.

Sorry, let me rephrase that: I have now upgraded to a November 7th 2007 ROM called Xplode Fixed which seems to be later than the August supposed 5.6 ROM and the unit now hangs on the bootloader screen, having told me that it HAD completed the flash to 100% and would I reboot. Will worry about that later but do you have any idea about the VoIP issue (and which ROM do YOU use please?)

You seem to be one of the few people interested in doing anything with the Blue Angel at the moment! I am trying to figure out whether it is a development of the Wizard (400 MHz v 190?) or if it is an earlier unit (2004 v 2005!)

I seem to be currently running OS 5.6 which seems to be later than the various 5.0 or 5.2 ROMs? I put it on after I couldnt get VoIP to work in Helmi and think it is called Xplode.

But what I am really wondering is if you have had any luck getting any VoIP software working on the BA please? All I get with Sleuth's or Scheps or Microsoft's or WM6VoIP is a whole load of arcane error messages (Error No: 2147942413 OR a general nullexception error) which dont easily google.

If you have a RAR packer, you should be able to install the most apps without a computer imho.
